The Path to the Holy Grail: Following in the Footsteps of Mary Magdalene
Holy Grail 2024
The Route de Marie Magdalene in the south of France is carried out following two traditions: Provençal and Lancadoc.
En the year 44, according to French tradition, Mary Magdalene arrived on the coasts of Provence with other companions to evangelize Gaul. Mary Jacobé and Mary Salomé remained in the present-day Saintes Maries de la Mer. Martha would leave for Toulouse, Maximinus for Villa Lata, and Mary Magdalene would evangelize in the south of France, ending her days in a cave in Sainte Baume.
The “Western tradition” claims that Mary Magdalene arrived on a small ship, along with her brothers and other Christians, to the coasts of France. Specifically, to a small village, today called “Les Saintes Maries de la Mer”, around the year 40 of the 1st century.
