A different trip, visiting the three most important cities in India, with an ancestral look at its origins through Yoga and Ayurveda. An immersion in Indian wisdom that will help us in our personal well-being, enhancing your vitality and energy on a DETOX trip.
Madrid - Delhi
When we arrive at the Delhi airport they will give us a warm welcome and will transfer us to the hotel. In the afternoon we will attend a Bollywood show in Kingdom of Dreams that will be a ticket in style in India.
The first of our day will be a session of Hatha Yoga and meditation. After breakfast, we will visit both Old and New Delhi, starting with Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. We will continue east through the commercial district to the India Gate, located in Rajpath, an imposing 42-meter-high monument, a popular relaxation area. After this, we will see the Qutab Minar, a notable example of Indo-Islamic architecture that represents the brilliant art of the ancient Mughal architects. Then, Raj Ghat, the last resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation, where he was cremated on January 31, 1950. We will arrive at Humayun's tomb, with its beautiful arches at the entrance, which open the way to light to the interior, and the hanging gardens that decorate it. Later we will visit old Delhi, built by Shah Jahan since 1638, originally surrounded by more than 8km of walls with fourteen main doors. There we will find monuments such as Red Fort and Jama Masjid, the impressive mosque. Our guide will organize a rickshaw ride through the streets of Chandi Chowk. Night in Delhi.
Delhi - Agra
We will start the day with our session of Hatha Yoga and meditation and, after breakfast, we will travel to the city of Agra, which we will visit by the hand of our local guide. We will see the incredible Taj Mahal, whose meaning is "Crown Palace", considered the most beautiful grave in the world. This marble marvel is the largest and most extravagant mausoleum built for love. Its greatness has reached the most remote corners of the planet and has been an inspiration to many artists and architects since its construction. After the wonder of the world we will go to the fort of Agra, full of palaces and royal residences, and to the tomb of Akbar, known as “the box of the jewel ”.
Agra - Jaipur
We will get up to do our Hatha Yopga session and meditation, and then move to Jaipur. On the way we will visit the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Moghuls, uninhabited due to water scarcity, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have free time in Jaipur to walk and go shopping. Overnight in Jaipur.
Hatha Yoga morning session and meditation. We will have an introductory session of Ayurvedic Medicine with treatment. Once we have breakfast, we will walk through the streets of Jaipur by the hand of our guide, who will explain the most interesting of the capital of Rajasthan, such as Amber Fort or the palace, located 12km from the city, on the crest of a Cliff, as far as we go by elephant or jeep. The Hawa Mahal, "palace of the winds", has stunning views of the city. The palace also houses small museums with collections of textiles, armory and other personal treasures of the Maharajah family. Finally, we will move to the Jai Singh Observatory, used by generations and generations of Indian astronomers, and that preserves the world's largest sundial. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur - Delhi
We will start the day with our session of Hatha Yoga and meditation, before returning to Delhi and visiting the beautiful temple of Akshardam, a modern construction known for its amazing sculptures. We will also see the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a temple for the Sikh community, where we can join the hundreds of volunteers who prepare free meals for devotees. At night we will explore the colorful markets where we can make our last minute purchases. Night in Delhi.
Delhi - Madrid
We will transfer to Delhi airport to take the flight back home.
